A frightening example of lack of trust where we really need it.
A young woman in the 100 strong crowd listening to the inspirational Nick Tadd talk on the power and influence of Social Media on Wednesday asked “surely it doesn’t apply to traditional sectors like Financial Services”. So, being fascinated with the response I might get, I instigated an immediate poll. Not truly scientific I accept but a guide.
“Hands-up all who would trust the content of a FS website” I asked – ZERO hands raised
“Hands-up all who would not trust the content of a FS website” I asked – and at least 75% of the hands went up.
Is this just trendy against FS or generic through all sectors? Are there no parts of business that their customers and clients trust. We are all both buyer and seller at some point. What’s your thoughts? Are there any business sectors you would automatically trust?

I think most people have lost trust in financial and the banking industry due to their own fault.
The companies I trust regardless of if I know them are the people who work in the business and they got recommended to me by some-one I TRUST. If my trusted person said that financial Services is the best I have used them etc then I will trust them without doubt.
Best wishes
